In June 2009 Shawn went to London to present Anecdote's workshops on storytelling for leaders and how to make your strategy stick with stories.
On that visit he had the pleasure in meeting Kevin Bishop from The Royal Bank of Scotland. Kevin was doing terrific work in influencing change at the bank and we were so impressed that we have convinced Kevin, a kiwi living abroad, to come to Australia and present a one-off workshop with us on influencing change and inciting action using the natural power of stories.
It's been two years since we've stopped running public workshops in Australia. Our focus these days is on running in-house events for our clients. So this is a rare opportunity to learn some valuable narrative-based techniques to engage employees in your change initiatives.
The day will be divided into three parts:
- How to create your strategic story of the change that help everyone understand why itÍs happening and inspiring them to be part of the process.
- Ways to engage employees in the change process to make sense of whatÍs happening now as a springboard for new initiatives.
- How to design influencing initiatives that are sustainable and effective.
To help us plan for the event can you please just email us now indicating whether you think you will come.
We will be limiting the number of people at the workshop to 20 people on a first to book basis.
Looking forward to seeing you at the workshop
