Newsletter Addenda

By Shawn Callahan. Follow me on Twitter. Filed in News.

Newsletter subscriber, Ross Nicholson, rightly points out that Tom Peter's said "Ready, fire, aim" not "Ready, aim, fire," which I incorrectly wrote in the last newsletter. It seems automatic pilot kicked in as I was writing that sentence.

Actually I first heard this phrase from Karl Weick, who I though coined this term to illustrate the retrospective sensmaking theory.
Would be interesting to know the authoratative source.
