KM is change - and how to do it with stories

By Shawn Callahan. Follow me on Twitter. Filed in Changing behaviour, News.

Here is my presentation from the Ark KM for the Experienced Practitioner. I have to admit that it probably doesn't make too much sense without the commentary and the note are not the best but happy to answer any questions.

The presentation is a case study illustration of our three journey narrative approach to organisational change.

As always I find the content fascinating - just a cosmetic question - the little sketch drawings you use - what software do you use to create them?

Hi Andy, our graphic designer creates the sketches. I think she uses Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop.

Yes lovely slides, but to get a sense of the presentation you have a imagine a freewheeling conversation with an utterly engaged audience. I think the slides hit a good enough level of abstraction to be able to provide a loose structure and give free rein to the possibility for conversation in the session. The downside of course is that you'd have to be there to really get the best out of it, even an audio recording wouldn't have done justice.
