A number of us from within Victorian Govt. benefitted from doing this workshop with Anecdote last October. Typically, we survey ad-infinitum and do not always seem to get to the heart of those matters we would like to address with a view to improving them. Staff keep telling us they are sick of the same tired surveys, so when will the penny drop ? What is more likely to tell us what we need to know ? Ticks to multiple choice options or a narrative which tells a story in context ?
Over the coming months we will be putting the learnings from this workshop into practice to aid in evaluating the impact of the Victorian Public Service Continuous Improvement Network(VPSCIN.)

This was a fantastic workshop guys. You are so generous with your insights. I learnt a lot: I loved the Sensemaking work and really enjoyed meeting the other participants..and watching everyone trying to be so very sensitive in the anecdote circle...while really just bursting to tell their own stories!! It's the first workshop I can remember that has answered all the questions I had on the day...
